Weld/Joint Finishes

At Automated Gates and Equipment, we believe in following a strict standard of craftsmanship. We follow the NOMMA (National Ornamental and Miscellaneous Metals Association) guidelines for weld finishing. Read below to see the various types of acceptable weld joints.  

1" Square Tube "T" Weld

 (Above) Weld Finish #1:  The weld is smooth and clean.

Weld Finish #2: The joint has been sanded, though some evidence of the weld is still visible

Weld Finish #3: The welded joint has been partially dressed with some slight splatter.

Weld Finish #4: The joint has a strong weld that has not been sanded or dressed in any way.
